New Merchant Account Form
The Marketing Action Committee of Lake County (MAC) is proud to present to Lake County Businesses a new tourism-focused website, www.VisitLeadvilleColorado.com
INTRODUCTION
www.VisitLeadvilleColorado.com (THE SITE) is a service of Lake County Government and administered by the Marketing Action Committee (MAC) or its assigns.
Types of Listings
A single legitimate business (MERCHANT) operating in Lake County may present ONE basic listing on THE SITE after completing a Request for Basic Listing: New Merchant Account form (below).
Additional or enhanced listings, advertisements and links may be added for fee, at such time that this functionality is available. Non-resident business listings, links and advertisements may also be available for a fee. For THE SITE to be sustainable, a base fee for any listing may need to be charged in the future. There will not be any prorated fees unless administrator removes listing.
Length of Term
Initial Service Period 8/28/08 through 12/31/08, automatically renewable annually. Billing or confirmations, if applicable, will be sent to each participating MERCHANT on or before November 1 of each year. The information form and payment, if applicable, is due in full by December 31 of the current year, unless either party prior to November 30 of the current year submits a cancellation notice to the other party.
Terms and conditions are subject to change. Any listing, link, or advertisement or inappropriate merchant-posted content may be removed from the site without notice by administrator or its agent. All material submitted to and or used by MAC or its assignees becomes the property of MAC, and is not subject to return.
Changes to Listing Information
After the Administrator’s Agent adds a MERCHANT’s basic listing to THE SITE, the MERCHANT can make changes to his/her listing by logging into the Merchant Page with an account name and password. If, however, the MERCHANT would like the Administrator’s Agent to make changes, MERCHANT can email requested changes by clicking here. Administrator’s Agent must add and change all photos. The administrator’s agent will then upload changes through December 31, 2008, according to this schedule:
Changes submitted to the Administrator by the 15th of the month will be implemented by the end of the same month. Changes submitted between the 16th and the end of the month will be implemented by the 15th of the next month.
Effective January 1, 2009, changes to Merchant content will be edited and uploaded by Administrator’s Agent by the 15th of each month for all submissions received prior to the end of the previous month.
Lake County and MAC’s Ongoing Marketing Efforts
This Merchant Listing Information is compiled exclusively for THE SITE. Separate agreements and fee schedules may apply for use of this information on any other marketing material developed by the Marketing Action Committee. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, brochures, maps, broadcast, public relations and other promotions. Payment for these services must be made prior to the associated uploading, printing or production, or as otherwise agreed.
