Greetings!
Spring break season has arrived! Leadville and Twin Lakes have a lot to offer, including fun and affordable skiing and riding at Ski Cooper. You'll love the short lift lines, friendly staff and low prices. Lift tickets are just $42 for adults and $23 for kids ages 6 - 14, with discounts for multi-day passes, seniors and military members.
This is also a great time to enjoy cross-country skiing or snowshoeing on our trails, do some shopping in our antique and specialty stores, and spend an afternoon in the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum. Be sure to check our calendar often for lots of reasons to visit Leadville.
Stop by the Leadville Lake County Visitor Center at 809 Harrison Avenue when you're
in town. You'll find maps, brochures and friendly folks to answer your questions.

Recreation at 10,152'!
The Lake County Recreation Department is a wonderful resource for visitors and local residents alike. With classes ranging from ballroom dancing and archery to water aerobics and youth hockey, and attractions that include the Mineral Belt Trail and Community Park and Sports Complex, there's always something fun going on. One of the highlights this winter was having three Olympic swimmers from Europe spend a week in Leadville for high-altitude training at the Lake County Swimming Pool. The department hosts events throughout the year as well, including the Tri-It-High Duathlon and Triathlon, and Lap-the-Lake 50 Cycling Race during the summer.
