Happy St. Patrick's Day! Thanks to everyone who came to town for the Ski Joring
and Crystal Carnival. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed seeing so many new - and familiar
- faces enjoying the festivities. Spring break season is upon us, and summer is
just around the corner. We've included some ideas and upcoming events to help you
plan your next trip. Be sure to check the calendar and the blog often for even more vacation ideas.

Spring Break in Leadville!
It's time to pack your bags and head to Leadville and Twin Lakes for affordable spring break fun. You can hit the slopes at Ski Cooper and Chicago Ridge for just $42 for adults and $23 for kids. Need lessons? The "Never Ever" package includes a two-hour group lesson and beginner lift ticket for just $50!
You can snowshoe or cross-country ski on the Mineral Belt Trail and dozens of other area trails, or go sledding at Dutch Henri Sledding Hill, for free! Skating at the Lake County Ice Rink is just $2.25 per person. You can visit the National Mining Hall of Fame & Museum, take the Walking Tour of historic downtown Leadville, grab lunch or dinner, hit the shops...there are so many choices, you'd better plan to stay another day.
