Dear Friends,
The holiday season is upon us, along with all of the wonderful traditions that make
this such a special time of year. Leadville and Twin Lakes are full of ways to make this holiday one you'll remember for years to come. It kicks off this weekend during Victorian Days, with a holiday home tour, carolers, dinner theater, parade of lights and more. Whether you're doing some last minute shopping at our specialty shops, soaking in a private whirlpool tub in a cozy B&B, or snowshoeing around Twin Lakes, our small-town atmosphere, rich history and breathtaking scenery will stay with you long after your vacation ends.
Everything that is Colorado is right here...shouldn't you be here, too?

A REASON TO VISIT NOW: HITTING THE TRAILS
There are 16 groomed, well-marked trails in Lake County, ranging from beginner to
expert, from three to sixteen miles in distance, and between 9,000 and 12,000 feet
in elevation. The Mineral Belt Trail, a 12.5-mile paved trail that passes through the historic district and stands of trees and foliage, is groomed for skate skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. The area is also a snowmobiler's paradise, with hundreds of miles of groomed and ungroomed trails for every skill level.
